Kazi Ataul-Al-Osman is an Advocate of the Supreme Court, and a Senior Associate at the Firm of Dr. Kamal Hossain and Associates, which he joined in 2009.

Osman’s areas of practice include both litigation and non-litigation matters involving a wide range of subjects, covering administrative and constitutional law, banking, employment, real estate and property, customs, value added tax (VAT), income tax, and telecommunications law.

Osman has represented a number of public and private entities in proceedings before the High Court Division of the Supreme Court of Bangladesh and before subordinate courts and quasi-judicial bodies, including the Customs, Excise and VAT Appellate Tribunal, Labour Appellate Tribunal, Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission and the Bangladesh Competition Commission. He has also been engaged pro bono in public interest litigation involving issues of access to justice, accountability and institutional reform, the rights of ethnic minorities, freedom of expression and local government, among others.
